Raleigh Engagement Photographer | Jackson & Briana
The Winter Season
During the cold winter months the request for family photography kind of takes a break. Let’s face it, who really wants to drag their kids out in the cold, am I right? Thankfully I’ve had the opportunity to do a couple of engagement sessions in this season to keep going and they have been fantastic! As a Raleigh engagement photographer I still have the same focus, creating real moments and telling your story. This session was so much fun and quite frankly I would love to do more. I love my kiddos but having subjects that are a little less squirmy is nice, too ;o)
NC Museum of Art Engagement Session
It was SO incredibly cold this day, down in the 20’s. Here in North, Carolina that is COLD. We headed out to the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC. Even though we did have to take a time out and head back to the car to thaw out about half way through, the light and location were GORGEOUS. I have a thing for long grass and it’s amazing how you can use the tools you have to make something look completely different then what it is. Briana looked amazing in her dress and Jackson was dapper in his suit and at least this was an engagement session so they did get to stay nice and cozy. It’s all about that connection! The two of them were such troopers. There was no complaining to be had, just fun, laughter and lots of cuddling (for those two anyway, I cuddled with my coat). Braving the cold temperatures was totally worth it. These images were magical.
