What is Fine Art School Portrait Photography?

As a Cary Fine Art School Portrait photographer, my goal is to provide an amazing, easy boutique experience to the families in the schools that have chosen me as their portrait photographer. My service is personal and professional. Unlike large, corporate photography operations, I only take on a few schools so that I can provide superior customer service and beautiful, real images.

I never force kids to smile. I just want to capture your children as they really are. No awkward poses or faces, just the authentic child, on the day. The results are genuine and timeless portraits that are far from the traditional cheesy school photos we have become accustomed to with bright flashes and unflattering, busy backgrounds.  I provide a light and fun experience for your children and will create an environment where they feel comfortable enough to be themselves.

What Services Do You Offer?

Everything will be done online. Each family will be linked to password-protected online ordering galleries. Galleries are set up according to grade, homeroom, advisory, or whatever grouping which makes sense for the school. Each child will be provided 2-5 images, presented in both color and black and white. The family may chose the photos they want printed, as opposed to having a pose chosen for them. I also provide canvas gallery wraps and digital images for future printing and archiving. A detailed PDF describing all ordering procedures and shooting day preparation will be provided to each school to be distributed to families prior to photo day.

Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school.

All equipment and personnel needed for photo day is provided.

The school will recieve all high resolution digital files to use however the school wishes to use the images.

I handle any questions from parents and families about ordering and products.

I am willing to work with schools to provide custom services that fit your unique needs.

How Many Students Can You Accommodate?

I am confident in accommodating the smallest schools up to larger private schools.

Are the Images Expensive?

I have very competitive rates and nothing is paid upfront, all profit is made from ordering. I offer a variety of collections and a-la carte products to fit everyone’s needs. I also donate 10% of my gross to the schools that I photograph!

What Time of Year Should I Schedule a Fine Art School Portrait Session for My School?

I work with each individual school to schedule shoots any time during the academic year.
